The Gas Natural Fenosa Foundation continually organises activities to raise awareness and to educate about the protection of the environment. |
| The Gas Natural Foundation was set up by Gas Natural SDG, S.A. in 1992. |
|
In April, 2011, it changed its original name to the Gas Natural Fenosa Foundation due to the acquisition of the Unión Fenosa electricity company. |
Its activities in Spain are aimed principally at education and raising awareness of environmental issues, especially in the interface between energy and the environment.
The Foundation also carries out international activities in different countries in Latin America and the Maghreb, with programmes adapted to local conditions.
It also carries out training activities for professionals in the gas sector, provided by its Energy Training Centre.
And finally, through the Gas History Centre and the Gas Museum, it promotes cultural activities aimed at preserving and promoting the historical and cultural heritage of the gas sector
