At the event, chaired by the Councilor for Education and Universities, Gerard Ardanuy, emphasis was given to the importance of the Consell de Coordinació Pedagògica (the Pedagogical Coordination Council), to the number of entities that make it up and the number of the activities of the Student Activities Programme (PAE). Among the speeches of the seven representatives of the new subscribing institutions, the General Manager of the Gas Natural Fenosa Foundation, Pere-A. Fábregas, highlighted the importance of the Gas Museum adding its offer for schoolchildren to the educational network of the city of Barcelona.
The main aim of the educational activities of the Gas Natural Fenosa Foundation’s Gas Museum, directed at children and young people, is to improve environmental awareness and education, while promoting education about the past, the present and the future of energy and the environment among school students in the city of Barcelona.
