The Hon. Mr. Michele Losappio, Minister of the Environment for the Puglia Region of Italy and Mr. Manuel Beguer i Mayor, the Gas Natural Foundation international projects coordinator, signed an agreement for collaboration on the protection of the environment in the region. This commitment meant the start of activity by the Gas Natural Foundation in Italy.

The agreement signaled their firm intention to make progress and economic development in this region of southern Italy compatible with protecting the environment through extending local information and awareness on this subject.
